Im a happy cutomer! My husband and i are very happy with our purchases. We came to the salisbury maryland store last weekend (5/14/16) looking for a cooler. A gentlemen named Lou helped with our selection. He asked if we needed anything else. We told him we were looking at the chairs on sale. So he went with us and demenstrated the fetures. We ended up buying 2. We also asked him about a camp table we saw on line. He first said they didnt have anymore but could order on line. We cont. to shop here came Lou, he had found one last table not in box. So he gave us alittle off and we got it as well. Great service, very friendly. Thanks Lou

I work for Gander Mountain as a zone supervisor and we are trained that once there is more then one person in line (not including the person cashing out), a second person is to come up and ring.

This doesn't seem like a racist issue....

We don't work on commission anyway (at least my store doesn't). Your spending amount means nothing to cashiers.

I tried to purchase a Beretta shot gun in Jackson,Tn. and after standing at the firearms counter for 25 min. I gave up and left the store. 4 sales people and not one would even look my direction. It was ad if the last thing they wanted to do was make a sale. I went back 3 days later and tried again ,finally a young sales clerk retrieved the firearm for me and went into the back room with it, after 20+ min.,no sales clerk, no shotgun , no explanation, I left again. Finally last night I went in to buy the darned thing, 18 min. Before sales guy to asks to help.I order up the same firearm I've been trying to purchase. Salesman takes into back room and gone, 19 min later comes out without firearm and we start paper work,10 min later he inspects and we are off to a new phase of transaction. Back to back room 5 min.later comes out and asks if I need accessories, I say no and he keeps on about cleaning kits , ammo and the likes, I say no thanks,I just want the shotgun. Now he has to go to office for additional paper work, returns and tries to sell me a warranty, this *** keeps going on and on, in the meantime he tells another customer he hasn't had his break yet so it will be a while until he can help them.Finally I'm walking out with new firearm. Total time for transaction? 1 hour 4 min. Wife has the audacity to ask me if I want to look at work boots that are on sale.I gave her a look that let her know that Gander Mountain had just lost a customer.

***Again, I have posted my experience and no contact or care from Gander mountain. It clearly shows how they feel about customer service.*** **BUYER & SELLER BEWARE** I know it was my decision to sell my firearm, but this is not sitting right to me. I had a Sig Sauer 1911 C3 (Brand New) bought it through Gander Mountain. NO rounds ever fired through is hand gun, it was still in the case. They told me they could only do 60% of the cost. That took me a moment to digest, and got over it. $1099.00 is what it originally cost me. After he came back from the back room, the sales person said he would give me $540 for the gun. That really through me for a loop, that was less than 50% & not 60 % as they promised. Unfortunately I stepped down and took the offer towards a Ruger SR1911. I won't buy any more firearms from Gander ever again, or sell any either. They are not for the customer at all, and take advantage of the American people. Thank You Gander Mountain for a negative buying experience !!

Firearms loss value whether you shot it once or 500 times. Used is used.

Poor service, poorly trained staff and rude staff at the gander mountain firearms dept. has made me a mills fleet farm customer.

I will not shop at gander mountain again! Poor service equals lost customers.

Refuse to ship missing parts, terrible communication | Gander Mountain

I purchased a game cart, online from Gander Mountain, almost three weeks ago. Parts were missing. I have contacted their customer service department 4 or 5 times, with only reply in which they stated that they have no idea when I might see my parts. The cart is worthless as is and I don't have the money for another.
