Sweet beaver plastic bait

Went to Cedar Rapids Ia. store this AM to pick up some Reactoin Innovation Sweet Beaver baits that were in the weekly flyer about a month ago and was told that they never did come in. This was the 2nd trip that I made to the store just for these baits. I was told when I was there the last time that the truck hadn't come in yet. Today I was told they never have received any of these. Needless to say, I will not be going back and will discourage all of my fishing friends to do the same. I'm usually not one to complain much, but, 3 weeks to a month after an ad in the local paper and still no product. I thought this was a better store than that.

Received damaged items packed and sent out broken

These items were packed up and shipped out this way. Gander knowingly knows i do not have a store in my state to return it and they will not take a return . Gander could not sell this broken stuff in their stores so they ship it out to online customers and stick them with the damaged goods. Gander only wants to issue a $15.00 Gift card off your next order. Spend more money . get another damaged order sent to you instead of credit or exchange this order. This will continue and others will get damaged items sent to them . Out of all my orders with them. they treat me very bad with this order.

I have had the exact same experience with Gander on my last four CCI Mini-Mag online orders! Broken sleeves every time and my last order was soaking wet as if it was left out in the rain or something. I will never do business with these clowns ever again!

Company is bankrupt. New company Gander Outdoor is worse.

Last several visits the store has been understaffed; unable to check-out customers timely and serving customers out of turn. More often than not and the last 4 visits there is always some Boy Scout troop, soccer team,baseball team etc. soliciting for so etching which, although very nobel of Gamder, an irritant at best for a customer of Gander. Icing in the cake was yesterday, went to use a $10 card from Pheasants Forever. Just wanting to use the card up, one box of .22 rang up for $9.99 before tax. The cashier said I could not use it because my purchase was under $10.00. ONE PENNY. While I was waiting to check out, the cashier had a return that need manager approval, he called for a manager 3 times while I waited in lline, no show. After my "decline" to use my $10 card I asked to see a manager, again, no show. I left. Subsequently called the store 30 minutes later to discuss my situation. I was on-hold for approx 5 minutes before I was transferred around, the 5 minutes after that I finally talked to a manager. I also called out that the store is always understaffed. The managers response was because of ISIS, they are busy. I was unaware the Gander manager training program included a political science degree. Additionally, a manager training program should include how to handle customers instead of telling them how busy they are. I told the manager I hope they are so busy they sell out the whole store because I certainly won't be back. I normally receive several hundred dollars worth of Gander gift cards each holiday, I have since contacted my family members and asked for no Gander cards; frankly I would prefer no gift if that was all that was available. Bottom line, one penny, one lousy red cent, a manager who,thinks he understands politics, economics and consumer purchasing behavior coupled with several irritating factors and you lost a loyal customer. I would like a phone call from either a district manager or VP of sales (815) xxx-xxxx if this so important. I will assume no phone call means Gander Management really does not care. Emailed Gander on 12-13-15; no phone call as of 12-16-15

My husband wanted the Bushmaster Universal Gun Cleaning kit that was advertised this week in the ad for $49, regularly $59. I called my local GM store to verify it was in stock, after being on hold for 11 minutes, I gave the item # to the sales associate. He looked it up in the computer, yes, we gave it in stock, he says. Great! On my way. Arrive, after 15 mins looking with the 3rd associate to help find the display, to find nothing, they go look it up in computer. No, they don't have it. And acctually, there is only 2 in stock in the whole company!! One in Austin and one in on line stock! I'm just curious . Why have something on sale in your ad if you only have 2 of them in existence nation wide??? Smells like bad business!!

Gander Mountain - Smith And Wesson 22 Pistol Review from Muscle Shoals, Alabama

I bought a Smith & Wesson 22 on Nov. 27th,2015.

The slide had a gap and I took it back on Dec. 1st. They said they had to send it back to S&W and it would be 4-6 weeks. 2 months later I call to check.

No gun. 3 months I call. No gun. I ask for S&W phone number.

They refuse. I googled S&W and called them. They didn't get gun until Jan. 13.

But would be sending a brand new gun cause the other was not usable. Feb. goes by and no gun. I called the first week of March and manager said as soon as it arrives he will call.

I received no call or messages saying the gun was there. I called S&W on Mar. 21 and they said the gun was in Kentucky. I called Gander Mtn.

Customer service and a nice guy named Matt checked on everything and called me back and said it had been at my local store for 2 weeks. I go to pick it up and the store manager said his employees called me 3 times. I told him there were no messages and he said "if they said they called, they called." I asked was he calling me a liar and he said "I believe my employees." I am furious and will NEVER go to that store again!!!!

Why would I make payments on a gun that I did not have and him say that I knew the gun was there for 2 weeks!!!

Ganer Mountain newnan horrible cust service. Was looking for a new pistol and had 1k cash to spend and came in at 9:45 only to be informed on what time they close by muliple staff members. We had to beg for help and finally found someone who told us he had to get somebody else. The guy he got was very arrogant and acted bothered to answer our questions and tried to make me feel *** and then informed us that we had to leave because it was almost 10. First time here and my last time here thank goodness newnan has academy sporting goods.

I VISITED THE STORE ON MARCH 19TH 2016. I WAS LOOKING TO PURCHASE A HAND GUN. JOEY ASSISTED ME. WHEN I SAY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I MEAN JUST THAT!! HE GAVE ME SO MUCH INFORMATION. THIS WILL BE MY FIRST HAND GUN PURCHASE AND HE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE ABOUT PURCHASING A FIRE ARM. MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT HAND GUN SO THAT WE CAN START GOING TO THE GUN RANGE SHOOTING AS A HOBBY. JOEY RECOMMENDED SEVERAL FIRE ARMS AND GAVE ME A LITTLE OF HIS PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE. I WALKED OUT THE STORE SMILING, LIKE THIS GUY IS GREAT! I AM SUCH A STICKLER WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a survivalist. I went to Gander Mountain expecting to write a blog on how great their customer service was how the they had an awesome selection of survival gear. I was planning on taking a 6 month trip to the beautiful Smokey Mountains and using their products o help me survive the journey. I have gone to Gander Mountain(Mount Juliet, Tn) on 4 separate occasions and the employees will not help me at all, I don't know if it is because of the way I look, skin color, or what but needless to say, I am going to drop gander mountain and feature academy in my blog! They have better prices and way better customer service

Gun on sale but mo gun to be had!

There is suppose to be a big gun sale ongoing now until the 9th of April 2016. Go into the store to buy the firearm I wanted a Walther PPS 40. This was at Chambersburg, Pa. store on 31 March 2016. Guess what no gun in store and none to be had at all. Why did corporate advertise a gun on sale and then have none to send to there store so customers can purchase them. I was told I could not get a rain check and that they could not get any! Not a good business practice. My opinion of Gander Mountain is not very high and I would not recommend anyone from buying a firearm from them.

Just bought a DPMS Oracle and had gander incorrectly install a rail for my bi-pod. Also had them install and bore site my new Nikon p223 scope which was completely not right. Not very happy with the service I thought they are "pro's". And could not complete a couple simple tasks.

Their satisfaction guarantee is a lie! I have been trying to get my defective Gander Mountain blind replaced, but have been told because I have no receipt there is nothing anyone can do.

I have snapshots of the Gander 100% Guarantee and no where in the guarantee is there ANY reference about needing a receipt for a return on defective items. I would like my defective, Gander Mountain, blind replaced. I paid over $150 for something that barely lasted me 4 months.

I bought this blind after doing much research about quality blinds. I guess I will not be recommending this company as others have and switch to a better brand that will stand behind its products and their 100% guarantee.
