I bought a gander mountain meat slicer. Parts were missing. After many calls the store manager at joliet il store said next time I come to ill. From upper peninsula mi to bring it back and since they did not carry that exact model he would upgrade to next size. There were at least 6 employees standing behind the counter. One told my husband someone would be with him shortly. No other customers at the counter and 20 minutes later he left. Never Got waited on. They were chatting up laughing not taking care to make a sale. I wanted to purchase late season plot seed. I had picked up a bag that had a hole in it. Dov Kawamota should be highly praised for his superb customer service at the Woodbridge, VA store. At 74 I needed to replace a handgun that was becoming difficult to shoot. Dov spent much time with me reviewing the options, and pros and cons of various choices including possible accessories. Sign says they will match and 10 percent. That is a lie . I called e the gadsden store showing the price the competitor had it for and the store manager hung up on me twice and was rude very rude . Gona be driving past this store from now on and shredding this gander card.

Three horrible experiences with this location! Don't shop here or give one of you hard earned dollars to support the garbage of employees and store manager that supports their behavior. People at this location do not want to help you at all and don't care! They will flat out lie to you including the store manager about what they have in stock and have been labeled by other Garden Mountain locations as the "black sheep of the district" when asked... I went to Gander Mountain with a mint condition acp 1911 45 only been sot 25 times for sight in and plunking a few rounds at can target. the gun was my dads and he gave it to me years ago. The 45 was a MP MODEL which is built to better standards than regular 1911's due to the MP'S needing a better quality firearm. Today, I actually had a great customer service experience from Gander Mountain. I misplaced a gift card. I brought a receipt into the store as the website told me to do. I met with associates up to the manager of the store who gave me the run around and were unfamiliar with there own store policies. Here is where it all turned around. Bought a gander mountain jacket. Good product, however when i noticed that the zipper pocket was broken gander mountain did not stand by their 100% guarantee even though it was a manufacturer defect. As a thru hiker I cannot express how disappointed i was with the customer service and company policy. I would not recommend any gander mountain product if you expect reliability.

Have a firearm on layaway at the mobile, alabama store, every time i go to pay it takes 45 minutes because no one at the front or at the gun counter knows how to pull up the screen or program to submit payments. I was just told at the front that iit can only be done in the back even though a few days ago i did it at the front. Gander please train your folks!!!!!!!!
