I was at your Ofallon Illinois store on May 10th and asked a salesman if they would match Cabella's online price for the Vortex Talon HD binoculars. He said he thought he could and called corporate and they told him know which is fine but don't advertise it. I live in Illinois and I like to spend my money as close to my hometown as possible. This last week I purchased a pair of hiking boots in the Winston-Salem Gander Mountain store. A very pleasant, friendly and helpful young lady (Amber) waited on me. In the Salisbury store in Maryland, we purchased a kayak, life vests, paddles and car mounting equipment from Gander Mountain. We are really pleased with the price, and value. Im a happy cutomer! My husband and i are very happy with our purchases. We came to the salisbury maryland store last weekend (5/14/16) looking for a cooler. I was shopping for a double tap 45acp that is in your weekly flyer at the Tampa store on Hillsborough Ave. there was a discrepancy in the flyer add from the online price. Bayley the sales person assisting me went on her radio to ask about it. The manager Dennis came over asking what was wrong. These items were packed up and shipped out this way. Gander knowingly knows i do not have a store in my state to return it and they will not take a return . Gander could not sell this broken stuff in their stores so they ship it out to online customers and stick them with the damaged goods. Gander only wants to issue a $15.00 Gift card off your next order. Spend more money . get another damaged order sent to you instead of credit or exchange... Read more

Two older employees (ages 50+) were standing at the counter talking when I walked in the store, and after looking around for a bit, I decided to check out. The same two employees where still at the counter talking when myself and another lady came to the counter to check out. The two employees proceed to walk 5ft over the the clothing area. There is suppose to be a big gun sale ongoing now until the 9th of April 2016. Go into the store to buy the firearm I wanted a Walther PPS 40. This was at Chambersburg, Pa. store on 31 March 2016. Guess what no gun in store and none to be had at all. Why did corporate advertise a gun on sale and then have none to send to there store so customers can purchase them.
